- Board of Studies of B.Com was conducted on 24 June 2016 for the purpose of Extra Credit Course and Internship programme for students.

- 70 out of 70 students of Commerce passed certificate examination on “Retail Associates” conducted by National Skill Development Corporation through Retail Sector Skill Council under Pradhana Mandri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY). Students were trained by Global Vision Infocon Services Pvt Ltd.
- Sri L Harabasara and V Vasanthakumar of II B.Com volunteered to work at Dispensary of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya on 3 July 2016.
- Add-on Course on “Tally” was started on 18 July 2016 for 54 students of I year of B.Com.
- Value Added Course on “Business Accounting Process” were started on 25 July 2016 for 25 students of II year B.Com.
- 50 students of III year B.Com with 5 faculty members visited NLC Tamilnadu Power Ltd on 23 July 2016.
