College Day Celebrations of the College for the academic year 2022-23 was celebrated on 08.04.2023 at Vidyalaya Venkatakrishnan Indoor Stadium. The function began with prayer song. Sri V. Sangeethkumar, Chairman, Students Union welcomed the gathering. Swami Nirmaleshananda, Secretary of the College, presided over the function and delivered presidential address. Swami Anapekshananda, In-charge (Un-aided wing) present on the occasion. Prof. Dr. C. Muthamizhchelvan, Vice Chancellor, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai delivered a College Day Address. In his speech, he mentioned some important activities that students should learn during College days.

Further, faculty members who received the UGC Major and Minor Research Project and the faculty who acquired the doctorate degree where honored along with Best Outgoing students of Under Graduation and Post Graduation of each department and Best Sports achievers by the chief guest, Secretary and Principal on the occasion. Swami Nirmaleshananda, Secretary released the copies of College Magazine of the academic year 2022-23, received by the Chief Guest. Followed these above, Dr. R. Thangavel, Principal presented a short annual report which followed by the detailed video presentation.

Finally a cultural programme of our students performed a divine drama named “Kumaraguruparar” and one dance programme named “Wake up nation” in order to inculcate spiritual and patriotic values in the students community respectively.

Sri G. Hem Kumaran, Secretary, Students Union proposed Vote of thanks. All the students, faculty members and Heads of the Department of the College attended the programme. The College Day Celebrations ended with the National Anthem.
