Evaluation Pattern for CIAEvery semester, a CIA test and model exam for each course are conducted. For Theory courses (2021-2022 batch onwards)CIA Assessment for Undergraduate students

Schedule for CIA TestsCIA test will be conducted on completion of every 50 days in the calendar of 90 working days. The Practical and model examinations will be conducted after completing 75 and 83 working days sequentially.
For each practical, students will have one model practical examination. The marks obtained in the examination will be appropriately converted into marks for the CIA component of the practical.
The marks allotted for observation notebook maintenance & regularity is based on the performance of students in writing procedure, accuracy of the results, regularity in attending practical class, which will be accounted based on the attendance maintained separately for practical class, and punctuality in the submission of observation notebook.
Every student should earn a minimum attendance of 75% to become eligible to appear for End-of-Semester examinations. The 5 marks allotted to this components under CIA of theory and practical will be awarded as given hereunder.
