The Department of Commerce stream of our College organized National level workshop on “Sustainable Excellence in Entrepreneurship” on 06.02.2024. Dr. A. Muthusamy, Principal, welcomed the gathering. Swami Bhaktivratananda, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. Sri. R. Chandrasekar, Industry Process Advisor, FMCG Industries, Coimbatore delivered inaugural address on entrepreneurship.
Technical Session-I, Dr. S. Ravichandran, Professor-Mechanical Engineering, Head-Entrepreneurship Development Cell, KIT-Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, delivered a talk on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation as career opportunity”. He spokes on innovation and entrepreneurship opportunity.
Technical Session-II, Dr. S. Shankarii, Assistant Professor of Business Administration, Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, delivered a talk on “Excellent entrepreneurs of Youth”. He also highlighted the Startup ideas and creation of new entrepreneurs.
Finally, Dr. K. Kandappan, Dean, Students Support Services, distributed the certificates to the participants at the valedictory function. Dr. A. Balagurusamy, Head, Department of Commerce, delivered the Vote of thanks. Faculty Members and Students of Commerce stream were present at the function. Totally 117 students and 5 faculty members from 10 colleges were participated in the function.
