The NSS Units of our College Celebrated the International Mother Language Day on 22.02.2023 at GKD Auditorium. Dr. R. Vasakarajan, NSS programme Officer welcomed the gathering. Dr. R. Gokul, Assistant Professor of Tamil delivered special address on “The Role of Mother Language in Skill Development”. All the first year NSS volunteers and NSS programme Officers participated. Dr. M. Akilesh, NSS programme Officer proposed the vote of thanks.

Fifty two NSS Volunteers and Sri P. Dineshkumar, Assistant Professor of Commerce CA participated in the “International Mother Language Day – Rally” conducted by the NSS Cell of Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore at VOC Park, Coimbatore on 21.02.2023.

  1. The Orientation Programme for the newly enrolled NSS volunteers and the NSS day celebration was organized and conducted on 22nd September 2022. Dr. K. Thirumalaisamy, NSS Programme Officer welcomed the gathering. Dr. R. Thangavel, Principal delivered presidential address. Dr. R. Annadurai, NSS Programme Coordinator i/c, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore delivered special address on “NSS for Community Development”. Totally, 252 NSS Volunteers and 5 NSS programme officers participated.
  2. The NSS Units of our College organized the Mountain Trekking Programme for the newly enrolled NSS volunteers to Palamalai Hills on 23rd September 2022. During the Trekking the vounteers performed Swatcch Bharat Activity in and around the Palamalai Temple. Totally 228 volunteers and Five NSS Programme officers were participated in the Trekking Programme.
  3. The NSS units of our college and Naickenpalayam Panchayat Union Elementary School jointly celebrated the 75th Independence day anniversary and conducted the event “Har Ghar Thiranga” (Anaithu Veedukalil Thesiya Kodi) from 13th to 15th August 2022. Totally, 25 school childrens were hoisted the national flag in their house.
  4. Thirty five NSS Volunteers participated in the Crowd control and Annadhanam serving duty on the occasion of Kumbabisekam of Om Sri Varasithi Vinayagar Temple, Pudhupudur on 3rd June 2022.
  5. As per the direction from Higher Education Department, the Mass Cleaning Campaign was conducted on 3rd June 2022 in Commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. M. Karunanidhi, Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.K. Thirumalaisamy and Dr. Abimanyu NSS Programme Officers along with 50 NSS Volunteers involved in this campaign.
  6. Thirty NSS Volunteers participated in the crowd control duty in the Mariyamman Temple Function at G. Kavundampalayam on 5th & 6th June 2022.
